Oh my god. One of my roommates' friends is holding forth on "the best way to drive when you're semi-drunk".
I don't think I'll ever understand this mindset. I don't think I want to.

ETA: I just got back from playing the designated driver version of fox and geese to get that particular friend and his car home. Brain's not working well enough for me to be able to tell if that's ironic. |

Just thoroughly washed my teapot (as opposed to a vinegar rinse) for the first time in what I'm thoroughly disturbed to realize may be years. It looks all shiny and new! But still, how am I so bad at cleaning? |

Genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice in it) is yummy. I'm making a pot right now. It smells delicious and, I dunno nutty? Not good at describing scents.
Earlier I repotted my plant. Before, I had it in a paper cup (it was a cutting, so it didn't come with a pot), but now its in a lovely, well drained terracotta pot. It even has its own saucer(...thingy. what do you call those?)! None of this "old plastic yogurt lid" business, not for this plant. It has class.
(In other news, I missed the bus to church this morning and am buried in reading. Which is why I'm reading meta instead.) |
